Best way to get great bass in car?
I want a really strong bass system in my car. I realize when buying woofers amps dont really equate to more bass so what is the best way to get a super bass system?
what do i look for in other words?
your first point is power, wattage (mostly RMS) will dictate how much power your speakers convert into sound..
the next thing is displacement (how big are the speakers) bigger speakers are better at reproducing lower bass frequencies. SMall speakers are more precise at hitting higher frequencies... DO NOT skimp on enclosures, good speaker enclosures will mean the difference between earth shaking bass, and aluminum can shaking bass...
the final thing is signal, you have to make sure you have a good signal going to the amplifier (crappy signal=crappy sound)
