Why does my iPod makes noises when connected to a docking station?

My ipod makes these noises when switching from a song - only when connected to a docking station or car charger when I can not wear headphones. This is my first iPod, so I have no idea if this is normal or no. It's a classic 80 GB, if that helps. I'm pretty sure it's the sound of the development files, but I hear through the speakers?

It doesn't sound normal. my ipod doesn't make noises when I plug my iHome docking station. The noise sounded first stick on there, but when songs are changing. my ipod nano is an old man. Urs perhaps this is just mine.
